Conrad Furey works.
Originally from Baie Verte, Newfoundland, Conrad Furey settled in Hamilton in 1974. Conrad is widely recognized for his colourful depictions of everyday Newfoundland life. A highly prolific artist, Conrad put his heart and soul into his work.
Conrad Furey passed away in 2008 at the too young age of 53. He was a humble, sentimental artist of
the water and his voyage is eternal. Conrad was a founding member of the noted Tiger Group. His treasured work is displayed in schools, hospitals, churches, government buildings, and private collections. He was regularly commissioned
to produce public paintings and murals in both Newfoundland and Ontario.
